On computers, tablets and phones, in the browser and through the Android and iPhone apps.

6-month free trial, no card required and no commitment. Subscriptions start at €26 excl. VAT/month, with annual billing.

Seven tools, one app

Each tool covers a need in the day, in the same app and with the same accounts.

Shift log

The day's information in one place, timestamped and signed. It's the front door of the app, the screen the team opens as soon as they arrive.

  • The "Read" button: every note shows who has read it, and who hasn't yet.
  • Mentions: name someone and they're notified, even if their shift starts eight hours later.
  • Comments, attached to the note itself rather than lost in a chat thread.
  • Tags, filters by date range, and a filter for what's still unread.
  • Important notes pinned to the top, and ones that run over several days.
  • Reminders: the note reappears at the set time, for the people it's assigned to, until one of them marks it done.
  • Photos and PDFs as attachments.

Maintenance tickets

An issue reported with a photo, assigned to someone, tracked through to close-out.

  • A ticket assigned to one person, who is notified.
  • A due date, and a list of what's overdue.
  • The name of who closed it, and an archive of what's done.
Learn more

Checklists

Start-of-shift and end-of-shift procedures.

  • Every completed task is timestamped and signed.
  • Checklists that repeat every week or month are set up once.
  • A day-by-day history of what's been done.

  • A photo of the item, and the room and floor where it was found.
  • Three statuses: pending, returned, archived.
  • Search by description, location or guest name.

Cash register

The cash count sheet, filled in and checked at the end of each shift.

  • A note-by-note and coin-by-coin count, and the starting float.
  • The variance between what's expected and what's counted, shown instantly.
  • Cash in and out with a reason for each, signed by the person counting.

And across every tool at once

A single search

One search bar that looks across every tool at once.

Adjustable notifications

On your phone and in the browser. For each tool: everything, just what concerns me, or nothing.

Time off

Someone on leave isn't notified, and the team can see who's in.

Unlimited accounts

One account per person, with no effect on the price.

History and tracking

Know who did what, and when. Everything is kept and searchable.

Front Desk in your AI assistant

Ask Codex, Claude Code or another compatible MCP assistant for a read-only briefing on shift notes and maintenance tickets.

Wherever your teams work

The front desk has a computer, housekeeping has a phone. Front Desk is the same tool on both.

On the front desk computer

Front Desk opens in the browser, nothing to install. You can also add it to a Mac or PC desktop to open it like a regular app.

In your team's pocket

Android and iPhone apps, plus a version that installs on the home screen. Housekeeping and maintenance report from the corridor, not from a desk.

Never miss anything important

Important information reaches you on the devices you already use: the front desk computer and your phone, even when the app is closed. Everything else waits until the next shift starts.

One hotel, every place, every language

Front Desk now follows the way international teams work, from the room itself to the AI tools they already use.

Run the hotel place by place

Rooms, shared spaces and service areas are organised by floor. Open a place to see its shift notes, maintenance tickets and lost property together.

Bring Front Desk into your AI workflow

Use Codex, Claude Code or another compatible MCP assistant to retrieve read-only ticket and shift-note reports without opening another dashboard.

Work in English or French

The website and the application are available in both languages. Each person can work in the language that suits them.

Not just another hotel software

Our tools are built around what hospitality actually needs.

7

years running

Seven years running, every day

For 7 years, we've supported more than 500 hotels. More than 980 000 notes have been exchanged in Front Desk, and every screen has been refined by teams actually working with it.

Built by a hotelier

After ten years at the front desk, our founder finally built the tool he was missing. Front Desk grew out of the day-to-day hassle of running his own shifts.

Built in Bordeaux, hosted in Paris

Your notes, incidents and guest data stay on servers located in France, in Paris. That's also a ready-made answer for your head office or your data protection officer.

Built for hospitality

Our tools are built around what a hotel actually needs. Something you open every shift has to load instantly, and make sense without training.

Pricing that follows your needs

You turn on the tools your teams actually use, and only pay for those. A property that only wants its shift log doesn't pay for the whole suite. A support team you can reach Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm.

Clear pricing

You only pay for the tools you turn on, starting at €26 excl. VAT/month with annual billing. The 6-month trial starts with no card required and no commitment.

The tools you choose

Subscription

€26 excl. VAT/month

For one tool, with annual billing. From €29 for a single tool to €89 for all five, excluding tax, per month and per property.

  • The tools you choose, from just one to all five.
  • Full history, and search across every tool.
  • Mobile apps, notifications, the calendar and your documents, included from the first tool.
  • 10% off with annual or seasonal billing, 15% off from your second property.
  • Support Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm

Nothing shuts down abruptly at the end of the trial: you keep the shift log and its last 7 days, for free and with no time limit. The full comparison is right below.

Frequently asked questions

What is a digital shift log?

It's the front desk's shift log, kept in an app instead of a paper notebook. Every note carries the time and the name of whoever wrote it, the whole team reads it from a computer or a phone, and you can find it again through search months later. Nothing gets lost when a notebook fills up or someone leaves.

Do I need to install anything?

No, not necessarily. Front Desk opens in the browser, on computer, tablet and phone. There are also Android and iPhone apps, and you can add it to a Mac or PC desktop to open it like a regular app.

How is the team notified?

By a notification on their phone and in the browser, even when the app is closed, and by the bell inside the app. Everyone sets, tool by tool, whether they want to receive everything, just what concerns them, or nothing. Someone marked as away isn't disturbed: whatever was addressed to them waits until they're back.

Can you schedule a reminder on a note?

Yes. A note written the evening before is set for the time someone needs to act on it. At that time, it reappears on screen for the people it's assigned to and triggers a notification. A "Done" closes it for the whole team, with the name and time, and the reminder can be snoozed a few minutes when the timing isn't right.

Where is our data hosted?

In France, in Paris, with the French hosting provider Scaleway. Front Desk is developed in Bordeaux. Your property's data and your guests' data stay on these servers, and the short list of outside services we use is published in our privacy policy.

How much does Front Desk cost?

You only pay for the tools you turn on: from €29 for a single tool to €89 for all five, excluding tax, per month and per property. Paying annually or seasonally takes 10% off, which comes to €26 excl. VAT/month for a first tool, and each property from the second one onward gets a further 15% off. The 6-month trial is free and doesn't ask for a card. The full breakdown, tool by tool, is on the Pricing page.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Without a subscription, your property switches to the free plan: the shift log stays open to the whole team, with the last 7 days of history, and the number of accounts stays unlimited. The other tools close, notifications and the mobile apps stop, but everything is kept and comes back intact the day you subscribe.

Does Front Desk replace my property management system (PMS)?

No, the two don't do the same job. Your PMS handles rooms, bookings and billing. Front Desk handles what your teams pass on to each other day to day: shift notes, incidents, procedures, lost property and cash counts.

Is Front Desk available in English and French?

Yes. Both the website and the application are available in English and French, so an international team can use the same property space in the language that suits each person.

Can I use Front Desk from Codex or Claude?

Yes. Front Desk exposes a secure, read-only MCP connection for shift notes and maintenance tickets. It works with Codex, Claude Code and other compatible MCP assistants, so you can ask for an operational briefing directly from your AI workspace.

What support is there if something goes wrong?

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm. Response within 48 hours, within 24 hours for Premium properties under contract. You write to hello@frontdesk-app.com and someone from the team answers.
